I’m Luc Stienne. I feel at home among electronics, traditional crafts and a barbecue with friends or family. I like learning by getting hands-on and sharing here what comes from it.

Technology & making things myself

I like to understand how something works and how I can adapt it to what I need. With electronics, parts I design myself and a 3D printer, I build practical applications for the home. From the enclosure to the controls, it is satisfying when all the parts come together as something useful.

In my homelab, I experiment with services and automation. I also explore AI in practice, both as a tool for research and development and as a subject for my own experiments. I collect the implementations and technical details in the Studio.

Iron Age re-enactment

Iron Age re-enactment makes history tangible. I explore the period by cooking over an open fire, working with wood and metal, and nålebinding. Making something with simple means offers a different perspective on materials and techniques.

It is also about experiencing it together: exchanging experiences, learning from one another and exploring everyday life in the past with others.

Cooking & barbecue

In the kitchen, I like to give a dish my own twist. I experiment with combinations of chillies, herbs, marinades and homemade sauces. Smoke and heat can be present, but the flavours should strengthen one another.

I enjoy cooking for family and friends. On the barbecue, in a stew or with a new sauce, the best part is when everyone can enjoy it together at the table.
