About me

Curious by nature. A maker by conviction.

I’m Luc Stienne: a curious maker with a love of technology, practical solutions and projects people can genuinely use.

How I work

I learn best by building something tangible.

An idea can start small, but I enjoy developing it step by step into something reliable, understandable and thoughtfully finished.

I ask plenty of questions, consider alternatives and keep the practical goal in sight. Along the way, software, electronics, design and creativity can all reinforce one another.

Maker, problem solver and curious technology enthusiast.

What I work on

Technology and craft, with room to experiment.

Electronics & IoT

ESP32 and Raspberry Pi projects, sensors, Home Assistant and smart automation.

Prototyping

Designing and soldering circuits, drawing parts in Fusion 360 or SketchUp and producing them with a 3D printer.

IT & homelab

Proxmox, networking, self-hosted services and the careful construction of a stable home infrastructure.

Web, digital & AI

Accessible websites, modern web technology and clear project presentation. At the same time, I am exploring the possibilities of AI with curiosity and a practical mindset.

Craft & history

Celtic reenactment, wood- and metalworking and needle binding: a tangible counterpart to working at a screen.

What to expect

Patient, sociable and precise.

I enjoy getting to the bottom of a technical problem, but it matters just as much that the solution remains clear and workable for the person using it. Learning new things gives me energy, especially when I can apply that knowledge directly to a project.

DINKEL

Think, make and keep improving.

This website brings together projects, experiments and ideas that show what I’m working on. Sometimes technical, sometimes creative, but always with the same approach: imagine something, make it, improve it and enjoy the process.
